Nice little blog break

Well, that was a nice little 7-month blog break! The reason for it is that we have been extremely busy this year and also, I've been stalling because my normal blog/scrapbooking process takes me forever so I've decided to change it up. What I used to do was edit our pictures into a blog friendly format, blog them by uploading the pictures and then adding my commentary/journaling. And then after they were blogged, I would edit again to put the blog post into a scrapbook form because ultimately I want to have scrapbooks for my kids to look back on one day as well as the blog. This process just takes too much time so my new process is this: I edit and put the pictures in a digital scrapbook page. I use Digital Project Life. I'm going to upload those pages to the blog. Done. So there might not be as much detail, but it also didn't take me so much time. Time is what I'm short on these days as Steve has been TDY quite a bit this year, we have been traveling quite a bit this year, we have swim lessons, cub scouts, jujitsu, ballet, cheernastics. Oh and I've taken on the Cub Pack Treasurer position and Social Treasurer and Bazaar Treasurer for our Officer's Spouses Club. Oh and also, it's summer so the kids need entertaining every minute of every day. They also need to eat 3 meals a day plus snacks, it's ridiculous! But we are having a great summer, maybe our last in Italy!
