The Polar Express Train

On December 5th we headed up to Williams, AZ to board the Polar Express train to the North Pole to visit Santa. Williams is an adorable little town on the historic route 66 and its claim to fame is its antique train line that goes north daily to the Grand Canyon. We were joined by all of Brian's best buddies and their families, the Browns, the Cummings and cousins Noelia and Jake. The kids all wore matching plaid Christmas jammies on the train and got to eat cookies and hot chocolate, and sing Christmas carols. The grand finale was when Santa boarded the train at the North Pole and walked through the train cars, giving each child a silver bell to bring home. Brian loved every second and was especially excited to see Santa and even told Santa that he wanted a "round and round" for Christmas. A "round and round" is a Lightening McQueen race track thing he saw on a TV commercial, Santa brought Brian something very similar.
