Cake Smooshing!

Emily's first birthday cake smooshing was a smashing success! She knew exactly what to do. No having to stick hands in the cake for this little one. She began by picking the cake up and shoveling the whole thing in. She ate almost the entire thing too! None left to share!!

For Brian's first cake (above, left) he needed a little encouragement. We stuck his hand in the cake and he sat there looking at me like "Really mom?! I really get to make a huge mess? Are you sure?" Once he got going though he was so sweet, sharing gooey cake filled baby handfulls with anyone who got close enough.

Not Emy though. She made sure we are stayed far away from her chocolate as she scarfed it down. That's my girl!!
