Brian on Two Wheels

With the move and everything this year, we hadn't gotten around to taking the training wheels off Brian's bike. Until just the other day when he and Steve were outside washing the car and he asked. So, off they went, and off he went! He didn't fall once and was zooming around the yard under his own balance all afternoon. He was so proud of himself. We were happy to see him so excited as he's had quite the adjustment period these last few months and has been getting frustrated easily if he can't do something right away. He's usually a laid-back little guy so it's been hard to see him frustrated, angry and sad. Luckily his good moments have been outweighing the bad lately, maybe because Santa is watching? Or hopefully because we are all getting settled into our new life here? I hope that's it.
